Working closely with the Head of Giving and Experience, the role of the Fundraising Manager will manage a team of 5 fundraising professionals to provide them with the mentoring, leadership and support they need to achieve team goals and budget. The Individual Giving team is responsible for appeals, the annual telethon, community fundraising, regular giving and supporter relations.
This position is about stepping away from the hands on delivery and donor relations and is focused on the Individual Giving team of 5 and providing them with the mentoring, leadership and support they need and working closely with the Head of Giving and Experience to deliver the strategy, achieve team goals and budget. So an ideal role for a fundraising professional who loves people leadership!

Your key responsibilities will be to;

  • Lead the success of a diverse team of fundraising specialists to meet or exceed income targets across appeals, gifts in wills, mid value, regular and cash giving, community and event fundraising
  • Drive the management of end-to-end supporter experience for financial and non-financial donors
  • Deliver robust, transparent and high quality reports and monitoring on targets across the fundraising program
  • Develop and drive the team to deliver innovative fundraising strategy and products
  • Build the capacity of people within the team, manage their performance and maximise opportunities for personal growth
  • Grow internal relationships to ensure collaboration, trust and engagement with the fundraising portfolio

To be considered for this role you must have experience in managing and leading a team, and experience in fundraising.

Based in Footscray, this role offers a hybrid on-going model in this full-time permanent position or permanent part-time 30 hrs a week. Full salary packaging on offer and additional benefits provided.
