We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist, with a passion for paediatric care. This team is based in North West Tasmania working across the various North West Regional Hospital campuses other regional sites as required. Duties include:
- Provision of goal-directed, family-centred care of a variety of paediatric outpatient presentations across the North West Region
- Work with the broader physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team to improve processes and procedures within THS-NW, informed by current evidence
- Leading quality improvement projects and service development
- Supervision and support of level 1-2 physiotherapists, or physiotherapy students as required
The Senior Physiotherapist will be a member of the Outpatient Paediatric Physiotherapy Team and from time to time may support inpatient physiotherapy staff on the paediatric and neonatal wards. The paediatric physiotherapy team also work as part of a multidisciplinary team to service specialist clinics such as Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, Early Developmental Screening Clinics and Congenital Talipes Clinics.

You will need:
- High level of paediatric physiotherapy experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a complex work environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated clinical competencies relating to the principles of assessment and management of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, and developmental paediatric physiotherapy care.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join the team.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar part time and casual vacancies.
Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration
