About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Accountant to join our team in the Northern Beaches. This is a full-time position that provides comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in the role.

What you'll be doing

Process accounts payable and receivable.

Issuing invoices and managing debtor follow-ups

Completion of balance sheet and bank reconciliations

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and BAS reporting

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Coordinate and provide first level IT and systems support

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

A keen interest in accounting and finance, with a desire to develop your skills

Ideally a candidate that has recently completed accounting studies or is currently studying accounting.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Excellent time management and organisational skills

A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)

A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
