Permanent Part-time Early Childcare Educator (Diploma)

Little Villagers Childcare provides a safe, quality, inclusive childcare service that values children and offers play based learning so that children can grow and develop their potential.

Little Villagers Childcare is a program of the Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre Inc., a not-for-profit community organisation. Little Villagers is a Victorian registered Occasional service, and a Commonwealth childcare Subsidy approved provider.

Little Villagers currently offers 6-hour care sessions Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking an Early Childcare Educator to join our childcare team. The position is for 11 hours per week plus providing cover for childcare staff leave absences. There is option to increase hours as we build our childcare numbers.

Essential Criteria:

· Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA equivalent

· Current Employee Working with Children Check

· Current First Aid Certificates: First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma.

· Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards

· Experience in early childhood education

· Current Child Protection training certification

We are looking for applicants with the following attributes:

· Passion for providing quality early childhood programs

· Previous experience in educating and caring for children

· Flexibility to work all days and shift times

· Passion, enthusiasm, initiative, warmth and creativity

· Confidence to work with all age groups (0-5)
