Procurement Data Entry Officer – Eight Mile Plains

Contract Role | Immediate Start | Hybrid Working Available

Are you an experienced data entry professional with a keen eye for detail and a background in procurement or finance? Our client is seeking a motivated Procurement Data Entry Officer to join their team on a 6–12-month contract basis.

Based in Eight Mile Plains, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing procurement team while enjoying the flexibility of working remotely up to 2 days per week.

About the Role:

Location: Eight Mile Plains (hybrid – up to 2 WFH days/week)

Duration: 6–12 months (with potential to extend)

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time

In this role, you will support procurement operations through accurate and timely data entry, working closely with procurement, finance, and various internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter procurement data (e.g. purchase orders, vendor details, pricing) into procurement systems with high accuracy

Maintain and organise procurement records and contracts for easy access and reporting

Process and verify invoices, pricing, and delivery schedules

Assist with vendor communications and follow-up to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution

Support the preparation of procurement reports including purchase history and vendor performance

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support procurement processes

Provide general administrative support to the procurement team

Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant external regulations

About You:

Essential:

Minimum Year 12 qualification (Certificate or Diploma in Business/Accounting/Procurement highly regarded)

3–5 years’ experience in a procurement or data entry role

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in the full MS Office suite

Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, D365) advantageous

High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional, proactive, and collaborative mindset

Desirable:

Formal qualification in Business, Accounting or Procurement

Experience in a similar role within procurement or finance
