They offer business advisory and tax solutions to business, individuals, and high wealth family groups. The three Partners have worked closely together for 20 years and have branched out from a Big 4 firm. They are a close-knit team who work together as one to provide excellent client services. They have a strong belief in developing and encouraging their staff to succeed by providing significant ongoing internal training at least weekly and attendances at external training is encouraged.

Their offices are located in the heart of stunning Subiaco, where you will be close to some great restaurants, bars and cafes. You can find all day parking for as little as $5 a day and their offices are only a short walk to the main shopping centres with Coles, Target and Farmer Jacks. Their offices are open planned, bright, and spacious and the working environment is warm, friendly and inclusive.

THE OPPORTUNITY

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to join the firm on a full-time basis. Working closely with their management team, you will be dealing with a mix of advisory and compliance work.

Duties include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and mentoring junior staff
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for SMEs, trusts, companies, partnerships, SMSFs, and individuals
• Preparing business activity statements (BAS)
• Providing tax advisory services, including CGT and Division 7A matters
• Liaising with the ATO and external agencies
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Preparing high-quality, referenced workpapers

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

To be successful in this role, you will be a team player with:

• 10+ years of business services and tax experience
• CA or CPA qualification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage daily workflow and meet deadlines
• Solid computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Confidence using MYOB AE (Accountants Enterprise) including systems, processes, and workpapers
• A strong understanding of FBT, Division 7A, UPEs, sub-trusts, and general tax matters
