About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Carpenter/Installer to join our team, providing high-quality maintenance and installation services to Aged Care, NDIS participants, and private clients throughout the Western Sydney region.

This is a mobile customer-focused role, requiring a professional, compassionate approach and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general duties including installation & repairs.

Install safety and accessibility equipment such as grab rails, handrails, timber ramps, shower heads and pipe rails.

Perform home modification works in line with NDIS and Aged Care compliance standards & building codes.

Conduct basic maintenance and repairs of fixtures & fittings.

Liaise with clients, support coordinators, and family members in a respectful and professional manner.

Accurately complete job reports, documentation, and maintain clear records of work completed.

Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with WHS regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar maintenance role.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Current driver’s licence.

Police check/ Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain).

White Card and relevant industry certifications desirable.

Willing to undergo a Medical Assessment.

Desirable Attributes:

Experience working with vulnerable populations.

Understanding of Aged Care and NDIS client needs and service delivery standards.

Ability to work independently to deadlines.

High level of professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
