About the Opportunity

With almost five decades of excellence, our client is expanding and seeking experienced Site Managers to help deliver upcoming projects in Northern Tasmania. This role offers the chance to contribute to their continued growth and success within Tasmania's thriving construction industry.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management of selected construction projects. Your duties will include:

Setting out and managing work programs.

Overseeing safety and general administration.

Managing personnel and contractors.

Interpreting a variety of plans and drawings.

Ensuring compliance of all workers on-site.

Ensuring the overall quality of construction work.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Working closely with the management team on tenders and contract submissions.

About You

This role is ideal for experienced Site Managers with a proven track record in overseeing commercial construction projects from the initial stage to client handover. You will have the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously and a demonstrated history of successfully managing multi-million dollar construction projects.

To be considered for this role, you must:

Have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar position.

Possess demonstrated experience working on commercial construction projects.

Have the ability to analyse, evaluate, and interpret a range of documents, including plans, invitations to tender, and contracts.

Possess a high level of attention to detail and excellent computer skills, including specialised packages and Microsoft Office.

Hold a Certificate III in Carpentry or Carpentry & Joinery.

A Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or willingness to attain it, is highly desirable.
