Property Network of Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee operations at a commercial office tower in Hobart, Tasmania.

This role will initially be employed on a temporary basis to start in July 2025.

You'll be responsible for managing all facilities operations, including risk management, compliance, contractor supervision, and tenant liaison.

An overview of the role:

• Implement risk management plans to meet internal and client KPI expectations
• Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance plans
• Oversee capital works projects in conjunction with specialists
• Drive sustainability initiatives and recommend improvements
• Ensure workplace health and safety compliance across all operations
• Supervise security and cleaning contractors to maintain high standards
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment
• Contribute to budgeting processes and provide monthly/quarterly performance reports
• Oversee contractor management, including tender processes and agreement preparation
• Assist with tenancy fitouts and landlord works
• Procure services within budget while meeting technical and statutory requirements

• Proven experience in risk and compliance management
• Extensive knowledge of building services and systems (fire, electrical, mechanical)
• Strong contractor supervision experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Leadership capability with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Sound financial aptitude and computer literacy
• Strong report writing and time management skills
• Experience in facilities, building services or maintenance management
• Formal Engineering, Sustainability and/or Management qualifications (desirable)
• Project and/or Contractor Management training (desirable)
