About the role

We are seeking experienced Crane Operators, Riggers and a MC Driver to join our team at Wanneroo Crane Hire in Wangara, WA.

This is a casual role, with the opportunity to go permanent after the probation period offering the opportunity to work on various construction sites across the region.

There are both residential roles in Wangara, Perth or 2:1 FIFO or DIDO out of Perth in regional WA.

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently operate a range of crane equipment on construction and residential sites

Perform rigging and lifting operations

Maintain crane equipment as well as Rigging Equipment

Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate crane operations

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Experience as a Crane Operator, Rigger or MC Driver in the construction industry

Formal qualifications in crane operation and rigging

Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment

Strong communication skills

Commitment to maintaining high safety standards

Valid High Risk Work Licence with CO (Crane Operations) and RA (Advanced Rigging) endorsements

Current driver's licence (MC class preferred)

White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Minimum 2 years' experience with mobile and slewing cranes up to 130t capacity preferred

Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment and drug/alcohol screening

Must have permanent right to work in Australia

Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and work at heights

Our fleet consists of mobile pick and carry cranes and Slewing cranes from 7t to 130t.

Due to rapid growth, we are needing Experienced Crane Operators, Advanced Riggers and MC Drivers to join our team.

The right people for this role will be well experienced across all sizes of both Pick & Carry and Slewing Cranes, be competent working alone as well as a team player, have a "can do" attitude and have great customer facing abilities.
