Workfast is seeking a Crane Operator to work 24/07/25 - 07/08/25 FIFO from Perth to BHP South Flank, WA.

Workfast is seeking an experienced Franna Operator to join a short-term construction project at BHP’s South Flank site. The role involves operating a MAC25 Franna to unload and install precast concrete sections for an artificial bat roost being built away from the mine’s main infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for a safety-focused operator with BHP experience and the right compliance credentials.

What you get:

• $60 per hour, flat rate
• 12 hour shifts, super paid on all hours
• FIFO from Perth, WA
• Shutdown - 24 July – 7 August
• Work on a unique environmental project with a Tier 1 mining client
• All flights, meals, and accommodation provided

What you need:

• C6 Crane Licence (mandatory)
• MAC25 Franna operating experience
• BHP Inducted and hold a current BHP VOC
• Police Clearance (within 12 months)
• White Card
• Ability to pass a Medical Assessment (MA) and LABDAS
• Strong understanding of lift plans and site safety protocols
• High attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision

What you will be doing:

• Operating a MAC25 Franna crane to safely unload and position precast concrete elements
• Supporting the installation of an artificial bat roost structure
• Following site procedures and lift plans to ensure safe crane operations
• Communicating effectively with ground crew and supervisors
• Ensuring all tasks are completed within safety and environmental guidelines
