We're looking for someone who has;

Experience in providing end-to-end standalone payroll services for 350+ employees

The ability to interpret awards and agreements

Experience working with people from a range of backgrounds, organisations, and roles

Demonstrated ability to prioritise, organise and complete tasks with minimal supervision

Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to review the accuracy and integrity of data

Key Focus Areas

Reporting to the Manager HR Business Partnering, the Payroll Officer is responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll services to Lotterywest. This includes the processing of fortnightly pay, employee benefits, leave calculations, and providing pay-related advice in accordance with underpinning awards, agreements and policies. This role has the following key areas of focus:

Payroll services – Ensures the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, Board Member payments, entitlements and deductions in compliance with relevant awards and agreements

Maintenance of Employee Records – Maintains confidential employee payroll records that meet data management requirements

Supporting audit requirements – Assists with internal and external audits by preparing and providing accurate payroll documentation, reports and reconciliations

Providing excellent customer service – Deliver responsive and professional support to employees and stakeholders by addressing pay-related queries, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a positive customer experience
