What You Will Be Working On
In this role, you will oversee the catering operations at our Sydney venue/s. Your duties will include:
- Managing a high volume of food production while keeping with Cliftons' quality standards.
- Design and create menus of corporate catering for event delegates over the week.
- Collaborate with clients and internally on menu planning and costing for special events (e.g. canape events, themed events)
- Overseeing and monitoring food deliveries, stock, costs, and equipment
- Guiding casual kitchen staff.
- Providing exemplary customer service to our clients and delegates.
What Type Of Person Will Be Successful
To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in corporate catering / commercial cooking experience. You should be innovative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Key requirements include:
- Have high-level menu development, costs and food production skills.
- Possess outstanding people management skills
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Uphold Work Health & Safety and Food Safety protocols
- Have a dynamic personality.
