Job Description
In this role as Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including the restaurant, bar food, events and weddings alongside our Head Chef. You will help lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, inspiring them to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef and Operations Director (Owner) and Hotel Managers to assist with the development and execution of innovative menus that showcase your culinary talent and creativity. You will also be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency, ensuring that all food products are prepared to perfection.
We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Sous Chef with a proven track record in luxury venues. You should possess exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. You should also have strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.

• Extensive experience as a Sous Chef in luxury establishments
• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• A collaborative and team-oriented approach
More About You
A minimum of 2 years experience in luxury 5 star properties
A minimum of 2 years experience as Sous Chef
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Engaging leadership style that demonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork, but is also a strong individual contributor
Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Self-motivated and proactive in approach
Eligibility Conditions
Full professional proficiency in English required
Ability to relocate to Armidale NSW (assistance is available up-to $4,000.00)
