About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join the team at Distinct Dental Centre in North Strathfield, NSW. This is a full-time position, offering a rewarding and dynamic work environment within the dental industry.

What you'll be doing

• Providing professional and courteous customer service to patients, both on the phone and in person
• Assisting the dentist during dental procedures by preparing equipment, sterilising instruments, and supporting the dentist as required
• Managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the practice's administrative systems
• Ensuring the dental practice is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Performing other general office duties as required to support the smooth operation of the practice

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar customer-facing role within the healthcare industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Proficient in using dental software and standard office equipment
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
• A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to supporting the practice's patients
