We are looking for a proactive and community focused Parking Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting deliver of best practices across parking compliance and enforcement services.

What you’ll do?

• Investigate parking related complaints and general community concerns
• Conduct periodic patrols to monitor parking compliance across the area
• Issue warnings, cautions, and infringement notices for breaches of parking regulations
• Educate public on parking rules and promote community safety
• Maintain accurate records and provide support for enforcement procedures

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role with sound verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven skills in the use of MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Merit and an understanding of internal online portals.
• Proven ability to deal with sensitive issues and resolving issues in a professional manner.
• Ability to work am/pm shifts and regular weekend and PH shifts, on a 7-day roster.
• Class C drivers’ licence

Desirable Criteria

• Previous work experience in parking or relevant enforcement
