The Opportunity:
This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on and practical ICT professional to lead the tech function while remaining on the tools. If you love building smart systems and solving day-to-day tech challenges, this role is for you.
You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and improving our digital ecosystem, with support from external developers and internal staff. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll have the autonomy to shape systems and processes that directly support our national field team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage internal ICT operations and strategy, while remaining hands-on with delivery
Design, build, document, and maintain core systems and integrations
Provide day-to-day tech support and advice across the business (including Apple field devices)
Work closely with internal stakeholders (including field agents) to gather feedback, improve user experience, and solve real-world issues
Project manage internal tech initiatives, working with external developers and dev shops
Upskill internal team members and improve system adoption across the organisation
Maintain detailed ICT documentation, policies, and knowledge bases
Own the configuration and support of key platforms
Prepare internal tech reporting for leadership as needed
Skills & Experience:
We're looking for a highly capable, tech-savvy team player who is ready to lead and deliver.
Strong experience across ICT operations, ideally in an all-rounder or senior technical role (full stack experience)
Comfortable designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based systems
Experience working with external developers and vendors on custom builds or system integrations
Skilled at translating user needs into practical technical solutions
Confident managing and supporting Apple devices and Google Workspace environments
Knowledge of Salesforce (Field Service) or form-based platforms like FastField is highly desirable, as well as experience with Dialpad
Strong project management skills and ability to deliver outcomes on time, and on budget
Effective communicator with the ability to consult and engage non-technical stakeholders
Passionate about mentoring others and improving systems over time
Ready to step into leadership without stepping away from the tools
