Key role tasks:

• Stay informed of and adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and compliance training related to your position.
• Provide guidance and support to site teams to enhance health and safety practices on project sites.
• Support the Project Manager with the development, execution, and ongoing review of systems, plans, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform site audits and inspections, offering feedback and suggestions for improvement to project staff.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities to strengthen safety performance and management.
• Lead or participate in incident and accident investigations as required, evaluate reports, and advise on corrective measures to avoid future occurrences.

Key capability requirements:

• 4+ years' experience in a similar role working on transport infrastructure projects, including highways.
• Willingness to be on site to promote an open and proactive safety culture.
• Certificate IV or higher in OHS.
• Strong enthusiasm for safety, with a proactive mindset and a team-oriented approach.
• Valid C-Class Driver’s Licence.
