The Opportunity
In the evolving field of addiction research, the Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow position sits at the forefront of an international program aimed at improving the understanding and treatment of alcohol use disorder. This position will leads functional neuroimaging research and plays a key part in developing and evaluating neuroimaging-guided brain stimulation techniques. Situated within the vibrant Addiction and Impulsivity Research Lab, the position contributes to a global initiative focused on advancing personalised and innovative approaches to addiction care.
This dynamic and collaborative position works closely with a multidisciplinary team of neuroimagers, computational modellers, neurostimulation experts and clinical scientists. It supports high-impact research through contributions to publications, conference presentations and the development of competitive funding proposals. The role also includes mentoring research staff and building productive partnerships across institutions to help drive progress in the field of addiction neuroscience.
We are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in psychology, neuroscience or a related discipline along with a strong record of research achievement and external grant success. This position will suit someone seeking leadership experience and a passion for mentoring early-career researchers and working in a collegial team environment.
