We have multiple contract opportunities for suitably qualified Teacher Aides to join our Learning Enrichment Team on contract for the remainder of the 2025 School Year, with a possibility for extension.

Our Teacher Aides are a valuable asset within our School community. As a member of the Learning Enrichment Team this role works collaboratively with teachers, students and parents to cater for difference.

About the position:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following;

Have demonstrated experience working with Primary School Children.

Have knowledge and experience with neurodiverse students, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Provides learning support and pastoral care for students with special needs and/or learning difficulties/disabilities.

Hold a Certificate III in Education Support or an equivalent qualification.

Collaborate effectively, seeks and provides feedback, is innovative and caters for difference.

Have experience in delivering literacy and numeracy intervention programs to small groups.

Be able to supply relevant anecdotal/verbal observations about academic achievement and behaviour for informed decision making.

Display confidentiality, empathy, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families

Be able to provide support to teachers in behaviour management programs, learning support programs and to students requiring specific therapy programs.

An understanding and commitment to the Christian values and ethos of the School and PMSA

Hold a current Blue Card
