The Role

As the Financial Accountant of this beloved Australian fashion retailer, you’ll work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller, taking ownership of key reporting, analysis, and team leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of month-end reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements;
• Consolidate monthly results and deliver variance commentary and insights against budget/forecast;
• Lead account reconciliations and oversee deliverables from the offshore finance team;
• Ensure compliance with GST, PAYG, BAS, superannuation, payroll tax, and other statutory requirements;
• Assist with cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis;
• Partner with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors to support annual and half-yearly audits;
• Maintain the fixed asset register and deliver EOFY reporting; and
• Provide financial guidance to department heads, supporting business performance.
