About the position:

Our client is seeking a Senior Corporate & M&A Lawyer at Partner level to join their growing Brisbane office. This role is ideal for a highly experienced practitioner with a passion for corporate law, complex transactions, and capital markets. You will take the lead on a broad range of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, joint ventures, restructures, and general corporate advisory.

A significant portion of your work will involve high-value, often cross-jurisdictional matters involving listed and private companies, with the opportunity to develop further market share in the capital markets space. You’ll also play a pivotal role in business development, strategic planning, mentoring junior lawyers, and building your own team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing firm at Partner level, make a national impact, and help shape the firm's corporate offering across Australia.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years PAE in Corporate/M&A law within private practice
• Proven track record managing complex corporate transactions
• Deep experience in Capital Markets work is highly desirable
• Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior lawyers
• Established network or client following will be highly regarded
• Excellent business development and strategic thinking skills
