About the role

AgapeCare Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Pennington, SA. This is a casual position, providing flexible work arrangements to support our clients with disabilities and help them live independently and engage with their community.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Providing companionship and support to clients, engaging them in recreational and social activities

Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

Helping with meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

What we're looking for

A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification

Police Check

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working with Children Children Check

Experience providing direct care and support

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment skills

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

First aid certification and a current police check

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
