Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor at TESMEC Australia is responsible for complete the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of specialized equipment and spare parts. This role involves coordinating logistics activities, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting field operations by ensuring timely availability of critical components.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping)

Communicate with HQ warehouse in Europe regarding special order

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes

Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations

Operate the use of forklifts and other material-handling equipment

Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or customer complaints

Report on productivity, stock levels, damages, and other key metrics

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices

Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., Dynamic, or similar)

Forklift license and understanding of safe loading/unloading practices (desirable)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, email)

Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items

Preferred Qualifications:

Certificate or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field

WHS (Work Health and Safety) training or certification

Experience in lean warehouse management or 5S methodology
