As an Integrated Designer at a large independent creative agency, you will play a key role in executing high-quality, brand- aligned print materials across retail, POS, packaging, press, and outdoor as well as digital formats. This is a production-focused role that values precision, consistency, and an eye for detail. You’ll collaborate closely with the broader team to deliver assets that are not just on- brand, but press-perfect and aligned to digital best practice, supporting some of Australia’s most visible campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Print Design and Finished Art Execution
Design and develop layout and visual assets for a wide range of printed materials: POS, in-store signage and theatre, catalogues, packaging, OOH, and more.
Translate brand guidelines and templates into final artwork-ready formats.
Ensure that all designs are accurate, press-ready, and aligned to spec, including bleed, crop, and colour management requirements.
2. Digital Design
Design digital assets across a variety of channels including social media, DOOH, digital display, onsite content, email, video storyboards and more.
Apply brand guidelines and templates to create cohesive, high-impact digital executions.
Ensure all assets are accurate, delivered to spec, and aligned with digital best practice.
3. Collaboration & Workflow
Work closely with broader design studio prepare, version, and hand over final files.
Participate in project kick-offs and feedback rounds with the production and account
teams.
Support the creative team by adapting master creative into scalable print and digital formats.
4. Quality Assurance
Conduct detailed checks on file outputs to ensure technical compliance for various print methods, stock types and digital best practice.
Assist in reviewing proofs (digital or hard copy) and iterate as needed.
Maintain consistency across campaign assets and large-volume rollouts.
5. Process Support & Innovation
Use design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) efficiently and contribute to process improvements in collaboration with senior staff.
Stay up to date with print and digital trends, finishing techniques, and emerging print and digital formats.
Be open to learning and testing AI-powered design tools that enhance workflow efficiency.
Experience & Skills
4+ years experience in graphic/digital design with a focus on print production and studio environments.
Strong technical knowledge of pre-press, file setup, colour profiles, and press specs.
Strong understanding of digital artwork best practice.
High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
Strong visual and typographic skills with a keen eye for layout, detail, and brand consistency.
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with accuracy and responsiveness.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
