About the Role:
Protech are seeking a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant to join assist in our clients workshop assembling Air conditioning ducting. This role involves assisting in the assembly and fabrication of ducting systems for commercial and residential HVAC installations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of air conditioning ducting.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Measure, cut, and assemble duct components according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support qualified tradespeople with various tasks on-site and in the workshop.

Required Qualifications:

• Construction White Card (mandatory).
• Drivers licence and reliable transport.
• Previous experience in a trades assistant or labouring role (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems or sheet metal work is an advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
