Known for its exceptionally low turnover, this is a rare opportunity for a Senior Accountant who is eager to engage directly with clients and gain hands-on exposure to high-level advisory work. It’s a role that blends technical growth with meaningful client engagement, not one to be missed.

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of financial statements, tax reconciliations, and income tax returns with supporting work papers for various entities including individuals, trusts, companies, consolidated groups, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs)

Managing a small portfolio of engagements and providing updates to management as required

Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and offering constructive feedback and guidance

Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns

Liaising directly with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality service

Performing management accounting, including reporting, forecasting, analysis, and advisory

Assisting with restructures, including drafting relevant minutes and forms

To be considered for the exceptional opportunity, you will:

Be CA or CPA qualified

Have a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a reputable public practice firm

Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across tax legislation and accounting standards

Have experience working with sophisticated clients, including listed and unlisted entities

Be passionate about mentoring and enjoy working collaboratively with junior team members

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
