The Opportunity

Our client is one of Australia's most respected ASX listed businesses with a rapidly growing global footprint. This is an outstanding opportunity to establish and manage the treasury function as the business embarks on the next stage of their strategic growth.

The role strategically manages funding including cashflow and liquidity as well as financial risks associated with foreign exchange and interest rates. It also manages key strategic institutional banking relationships both locally and abroad.

The Challenge

You will be responsible for all front office and back office aspects of the treasury function including risk management, cash flow, balance sheet management and treasury operations for the Group. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Management of and be responsible for all aspects of treasury operations including cash-flow and liquidity management
• Pre-empt financial risk including foreign exchange and interest rate risk through strong hedging strategies
• Maintain and promote strong processes and controls around treasury operations effectively ensuring compliance within a regulatory environment
• Maintain key relationships with institutional banks both locally and abroad
• Manage key ELT relationships across the business including relationships with the CEO, CFO and Audit Risk Committee
• Drive the enhancement and improvement of the treasury systems, processes and controls

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA/CFA qualified with superior cash-flow, FX and treasury operations experience within industry treasury functions of a large ASX listed environment
• Currently a 2IC to a Corporate Treasurer in an ASX environment looking to take the next step
• Proven Corporate Treasurer's are also encouraged to apply
• Superior front office treasury experience
• Strong communication skills and proven experience supporting blue-chip companies undergoing growth and transformation
• A track record for progression in medium to large ASX listed environments
• Demonstrated experience managing key long-term banking relationships
• Outstanding communication skills to successfully partner multiple members of the ELT including the CEO and CFO
