About the role

As a Systems, Services & Data Officer at Yarra Ranges Council, you will assist the Safer Communities team with policies and projects as well as support the team to deliver high quality, efficient, and effective services to both internal and external customers.

The position will work closely with the Coordinator Systems, Services & Data to maintain and develop online forms, procedures, templates, update web content, write reports based on collected data, as well as assisting in the Safer Communities’ permit and registration renewal campaigns

This is a part-time temporary job share position until February 2026 (45.6 hours per fortnight).

This is a Band 5 role with an hourly rate from $39.54 hour, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience supporting the delivery of campaigns including engaging stakeholders and ensuring timelines are met

Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to think ahead and ensure compliance needs are met.

Analytical skills to translate operational needs into automated system processes

Capable of communicating complex processes in a way that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders

Delivery of systems training across a wide range of audiences

Organised and detail oriented, ensuring templates and processes are updated and followed as required

Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and integrity of data collected and used

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio)
