The opportunity
Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join their team in Dandenong, Victoria. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to support the warehousing and distribution operations of our client. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities

· Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse

· Ensure the safe and proper handling of all materials and equipment

· Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements

· Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures

· Contribute to the efficient and organised flow of goods within the warehouse

· Picking and palletising stock for outgoing deliveries

· General labouring duties, moving stock and general tidy up

What we're looking for

· Valid Forklift (LF) licence

· Ideally 1+ years of experience operating LF forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment, high reach experience highly desirable

· Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Rate: $32.31 per hour
