We are a progressive construction company involved in a wide range of residential and commercial projects. With continued growth, we are seeking a motivated individual to assist with the preparation and submission of residential quotations and commercial tenders.

About the Role:
This is a casual position, with the opportunity to transition into full-time employment for the right candidate. As a Junior Estimator, you'll work closely with our Directors' to interpret plans, prepare accurate take-offs, and contribute to pricing and tender submissions. This position would suit a Construction Graduate or potentially a Carpenter looking to transition into an office/management role.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tenders, and quotations

Perform quantity take-offs using Planswift Estimating software

Analyse construction plans and specifications

Use Excel to prepare and maintain estimating documentation

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing

Support the team in administrative estimating tasks as required

Skills & Requirements:

Experience with Planswift or similar take-off software preferred

Strong Excel skills are essential

Attention to detail and accuracy

A willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment

Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised following initial training period

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
