Educator – Noosa Christian College OSHC – After School Care

Role Description:

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (South Queensland) Ltd. is seeking to employ a casual educator for Noosa Christian College OSHC – after school care. To be successful in this role, you will be an enthusiastic and energetic educator who is passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.

Reporting to the Service Coordinator, you will be a valuable Educator who will work to create a safe and clean environment for primary school aged children; to deliver fun, engaging, and interactive activities that encourage and support positive outcomes for all children through effective engagement with 'My Time Our Place - MTOP' Framework for school-age care. You will be responsible for providing safe and caring supervision of children, whilst fostering positive interactions and support of parents and families.

Your responsibilities include:

Deliver the OSHC programs under the supervision and direction of the Coordinator and Educational Leader

Build a healthy relationship with children and their families

Assist in delivering the service in accordance with appropriate policies and standards

Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all staff, children, and families

Application Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor (or enrolment) within a suitable field of study; Education, Childcare, Youth, Sport, Allied Health or similar and hold a valid working with children Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications or willing to obtain.
