My client is a leader in their field, currently undergoing signficant growth. They are currently seeking experienced Credit/Collections officers to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor debtor accounts to identify overdue payments and take timely, professional action to recover outstanding amounts
  
  
• Prepare account statements and reconciliations as required
  
  
• Ensure alignment of arrears across internal systems and financier platforms
  
  
• Respond to incoming correspondence promptly and accurately
  
  
• Record detailed and accurate notes on customer interactions within relevant systems
  
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and client relationship stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of payment discrepancies
  
  
• Build rapport and trust with clients to support ongoing professional relationships
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  
  
• Demonstrated experience in a receivables or collections role within a medium-sized organisation
  
  
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of credit management practices
  
  
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  
  
• Proficiency in database systems and the MS Office Suite
  
  
• Ability to remain patient and resilient when handling objections or escalations
