Since 2021, SOMM Wine Store has been a trusted destination for wine lovers who seek thoughtfully curated, deliciously drinkable wines. From the classics to the contemporary, our shelves are stocked with a diverse range and we’re known just as much for our warm hospitality as we are for our selection.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a casual team member who’s excited to share their love of wine, connect with customers and be part of our passionate and knowledgeable team.

Who You Are

You have a passion for wine, a good knowledge of Australian and International wine and a desire to learn more.

You bring experience in wine retail, hospitality or the wine industry.

You’re well presented, confident and enjoy talking with people.

You’re looking to work with a supportive team and a business that values its people and community.

You have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a team mindset.

You are reliable and available to work flexible hours including some weekends, public and school holidays and the busy Christmas season.

Formal certifications (such as WSET) are preferred but not essential.

What You’ll Do

Help customers discover wines they’ll love, offering friendly and informed recommendations.

Keep the store looking presentable, including receiving deliveries, maintaining shelves and displays.

Learn and share knowledge about wines, regions and producers.

Support tastings and in-store events that bring our community together.

Contribute to a welcoming, engaging store atmosphere.
