About the role

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Hotel Service Manager to join our team at Luma Luma Holiday Apartments in Darwin, NT. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of hotel service workers.

What you'll be doing

· determining work requirements and allocating duties to Commercial Housekeepers, Luggage Porters and Doorpersons.

· conferring with Managers to coordinate activities with other organisational units.

· maintaining attendance records and rosters.

· explaining and enforcing safety regulations.

· overseeing the work of the unit and suggesting improvements and changes.

· conferring with workers to resolve grievances.

· may perform front office and hotel reception duties.

About you

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a front office management role within the hospitality industry

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and staff

· Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance

· Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
