About the Opportunity

We have an exciting and diverse opportunity for a Rehabilitation Consultant from an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Psychologist discipline to join our growing team on a Contractor basis.

You will be assisting individuals to recover from injury and return to work through a client-centered approach, focusing on health and well-being. You’ll be managing a portfolio of cases including Workers Compensation, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) and Workplace Health & Safety Assessments.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you are an integral piece of someone’s recovery, you support them through their rehab journey and guide them through the process.

Assisting individuals to recover from injury and return to work through a client-centered approach, focusing on health and wellbeing.

Managing a portfolio of cases including Workcover WA and CTP claims.

Undertake Vocational assessments, initial needs assessments and worksite assessments.

Deliver Vocational Counselling, facilitate interventions and wellbeing programs.

Collaborate and liaise with employers, medical and other allied health professionals.

Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work.

Document case notes as part of your reporting, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clients.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders

The role will suit someone who will be able to engage and maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

About you

At least 1 year of Occupational Rehabilitation Consulting experience

Workcover WA Legislative knowledge.

You must hold the same values as us You must hold a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Rehab Counselling or Psychology, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiologist

AHPRA/ASORC/ESSA accreditation Have a passion for helping people

Hold a full driver's license and access to own car

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

You enjoy working hard but equally enjoy having a good laugh
