About Lady Gowrie QLD
Lady Gowrie QLD is a respected not-for-profit organisation with a proud legacy in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) across Queensland and Australia. As a leader in the sector, we are deeply committed to excellence, inclusion, engagement, and integrity in everything we do—whether it's working with children and families, collaborating with communities, or supporting our professional and dedicated staff teams.
Lady Gowrie Qld is looking for a dedicated and experienced Early Learning Precinct Manager to lead our three inner-city services. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the overall management of the services, supporting and guiding teams, shaping a positive centre culture, and fostering strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and the community.
We’re seeking someone who values collaboration, leads with purpose, and has experience in increasing occupancy and supporting staff retention. Previous experience managing multiple early childhood services is highly regarded, though not essential.
If you're passionate about high-quality early learning and ready to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Early Learning Precinct Manager of our three inner-city services, you’ll play a vital leadership role with responsibilities that include:
Overseeing daily operations to ensure safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for children.
Supporting, mentoring, and inspiring a team of educators, including the 2IC and Educational Leader.
Leading the delivery of high-quality educational programs aligned with children’s interests and developmental needs.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
Managing key administrative tasks such as enrolments, budgets, reporting, and rosters.
Driving and maintaining strong occupancy levels across all three centres.
Managing staff performance, recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
Keeping all policies and ACECQA/legislative requirements current and effectively implemented.
Ensuring the QIP is a living document that reflects ongoing improvement and practice.
Overseeing curriculum planning and documentation to support high-quality learning outcomes.
Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, staff, and the broader community.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident and experienced leader who brings:
A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), or a relevant early childhood qualification with proven leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and the National Quality Framework.
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
A clear understanding of service leadership, including staff management and community engagement.
A current Blue Card and up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
In-depth knowledge of ECEC legislation, the Assessment and Rating process, and continuous improvement practices.
A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).
A commitment to inclusive, culturally respectful practice and strong family partnerships.

A competitive salary: $120,000 + super + bonus Incentive
A supportive leadership team, including an Area Manager and a network of fellow Centre Managers
