The Role
A State Government Agency is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer for a contract role through to Jan 2026. You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable functions including payments, reconciliations, forecasting, and maintaining financial records, with a focus on stakeholder communication and Oracle system use.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier payments via EFT and cheques.
- Maintain Payments PBEA and Accounts Payable PBEA.
- Reconcile trade invoices and process accurately.
- Support accounts payable forecasting and reporting.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in full-function accounts payable.
- Experience in reconciliations and payment forecasting.
- Working knowledge of Oracle (preferred).
- Understanding of government finance processes is highly regarded.
