SALES REPRESENTATIVE - NATURAL STONE & PORCELAIN SLABS

Avant Stone is seeking an energetic Sales Representative for our Sydney Branch. Avant Stone is a distributor of high-end building products, offering a range of products such as natural stone slabs and porcelain slabs.

Due to the recent ban on engineered stone, Avant Stone is experiencing strong growth in its Natural Stone and Porcelain Slab Offerings. Avant Stone is proud to offer natural stone products that remain unaffected by this ban.

We are looking for someone to join our team to help meet the significant inflow of leads and capitalise on our strong pipeline of projects.

Whilst knowledge of the Stone & industry will be well regarded, it is paramount the candidate has an enthusiastic attitude, willingness to meet targets and ability to learn quickly about the products offered.

The role involves:

• The role is a split between serving customers from our Greenacre Branch and seeing potential clients on the road.
• Building relationships with architects, developers and builders as well as members of the general public.
• Following up customers over the phone & email
• Prospecting via Cold calling & client visits.
• Developing knowledge of product range and stone industry
• Facilitating selection of stone and tile products

To be considered, you must have:

• Strong sales and customer service experience
• Sales experience in the Stone industry or experience communicating with those in the construction industry - builders, designers, architects
• Holds a current full NSW Driver License
• Clear verbal (and written) communication
• Ability to quickly learn about products offered
• Willingness to manage multiple tasks and meet targets
• Enthusiasm and flexibility in working towards wider goal of company

You will get

• Base Salary of $80,000 to $90,000 + Car Allowance + Quarterly Commission + Annual Bonus
