About the role

Join the dynamic team at Eden Hair Energy as our full-time Hair Salon Coordinator. Based in Dickson, ACT 2602, this role is integral to the smooth running of our busy hair salon. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff schedules, and providing exceptional customer service.

Complete your full time hours in four days - have a long weekend every weekend!

Weekly pay and performance bonusses.

The roster for this position is Tuesday – Friday with three late nights.

Tuesday 9:00 am – 8:15 pm Wednesday - Thursday 9:30 - 8:15 pm and Friday 9:00 am – 8:15 pm.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate daily salon operations, including booking appointments, managing client records, and handling enquiries

Roster and schedule staff to ensure optimal salon coverage and productivity. Approve time sheets and manage leave

Manage the salon social media accounts, create and post content on Instagram and use apps such as Canva and Capcut

Liaise with the salon manager to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery

Provide exceptional customer service, handling client queries and bookings with professionalism

Assist with inventory management and ordering of salon supplies

Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

This is a standing role and can be quite physical, you must be able and happy to stand for your whole shift.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar coordinator role in hospitality, retail or office manager transfers well to this role. Hair Experience not essential but helpful

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience managing social media or very proficient in use of Instagram and Canva

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities and ability to manage multiple clients at once

Proficiency in using salon management software and point-of-sale systems

Passion for the hair and beauty industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service

Proficient in Microsoft office suite including excel and and use of Google G suite products.

Our current full time salon coordinator is going on maternity leave later this year in July. We hope to recruit as soon as possible so that we can provide training and facilitate a smooth transition.

Eden Hair Energy is a well-established hair salon in the heart of Dickson, ACT. Our mission is to provide our clients with exceptional hair care services and a luxurious salon experience. With a talented team of stylists and a commitment to using the best products, we strive to help our clients look and feel their best.

Eden first opened in 2014. In 2020 we moved to our new, larger location in the new DKSN building and in 2021. In 2021, Canberra Hair Extensions was born out of our original location but now operates out of the same location as Eden on Challis Street.

In 2023 we opened our Queanbeyan salon Hare and Fawn and have plans for further expansion over the next few years, meaning opportunities for you to grow within our businesses.
