About the role

Riverina Neurology is expanding! Increasing Neurologist numbers and the retirement of longstanding staff now provide an opportunity for a full time, extending over front office and practice management roles. We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team at Riverina Neurology in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This is a full-time positions that will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our neurology practice. Job sharing could be considered considered for the right applicant. As part of our dedicated and collaborative team, you will be responsible for managing all administrative and operational aspects of the practice.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional secretarial and administrative support to our team of medical professionals

Handling all patient enquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records

Overseeing the procurement of medical supplies and equipment

Ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and administrative regulations

Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the practice to maintain efficiency and high-quality patient care

Acting as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a medical office or practice management role is preferred, but please apply if your skilkset is suitable for the role

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures, and administrative best practices

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office applications

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals
