About Us:
We are a modern and dynamic podiatry business with four clinics located in Sydney’s inner west. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail to become a key member of our team. While experience as an Allied Health Receptionist/Assistant is highly valued, we also welcome candidates with a proven track record in roles requiring high levels of direct customer interaction (both face-to-face and over the phone).
This role offers a full-time position, with shifts available Monday to Saturday during our clinic hours:
· Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
· Saturday: 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM
This is a fast-paced, stimulating position that requires initiative and offers diverse responsibilities, including:
· Greeting patients and managing appointment bookings (in person and via phone).
· Addressing general inquiries about our podiatry services and retail shoe offerings.
· Managing invoicing, billing, receipting, and end-of-day banking reconciliation.
· Compiling electronic medical records and retrieving external medical information.
· Managing scanning, sorting, and filing of documents.
· Coordinating letter and report delivery.
· Assisting podiatry staff.
Key Criteria:
We are looking for a professional with the following attributes:

· Strong attention to detail, discipline, and ability to follow set procedures.
· Effective time management, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
· Competent computer skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently as needed.
· Accountability, respectfulness, and composure under pressure.
· A high level of motivation, conscientiousness, and flexibility.
Desirable (but not essential) Skills and Experience:
· Familiarity with PracSuite.
· Previous experience in podiatry or other Allied Health settings.
· Background in customer service.
· Experience with HICAPS/EFTPOS operations.
· Understanding of Private Health Insurance, DVA, and Medicare billing processes.
· Stock ordering experience.
On-site training will be provided, but candidates demonstrating the majority of the listed skills and attributes will be highly regarded.
