About the job
Here's an outstanding opportunity for two driven Sales Representatives to join a leading dealership in Rockhampton. You'll be instrumental in promoting a range of highly respected truck brands, contributing directly to the growth of a supportive and expanding business. This role offers an immediate start for the right candidates who are eager to make a significant impact.
This is a chance to leverage your sales expertise and be rewarded for your proactive approach. The ideal candidates will be "hunter-type" individuals who thrive on seeking out new opportunities and building strong client relationships.
While truck knowledge is a preferred, we are also interested in speaking to those with Farm Machinery or Construction Equipment sales experience within a dealership environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
- Prepare and negotiate sales contracts.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a sales-focused role, preferably with Trucks, Tractors or Construction Equipment.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel up to one week per month, covering inland areas.
Previous exposure to Trucks in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as Kenworth, Volvo, Western Star, MAN, Mercedes Benz Trucks, Fuso, Iveco, Hino, Isuzu, Scania, Freightliner or similar are strongly encouraged to apply. This role offers a negotiable base salary of $80-$90k, with an estimated on-target earning (OTE) of $180k+ including uncapped commissions. A company car or car allowance will be provided.
