This role is with a nationally recognised solar company, known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial solar solutions. As the business continues to expand, they're looking for a confident and capable Sales Manager to step in and lead from the front.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to join a well-established player in the solar industry with strong brand presence, proven processes, and a steady stream of inbound leads. You'll take ownership of an experienced sales team, providing hands-on leadership, managing performance, and ensuring leads are followed up promptly and professionally.

You’ll also support reps in-home when needed, so a background in field sales, in-home presentations, or managing on-the-ground teams will be highly regarded. We’re not necessarily after a technical solar expert – but you do need to be organised, responsive, and ready to get your hands dirty.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing and coaching a team of high-performing solar sales reps

Ensuring leads are tracked, allocated, and actioned with urgency

Jumping on calls or into appointments to support and close deals where needed

Working closely with the business owner to refine systems, processes, and performance reporting

Maintaining a culture of accountability and responsiveness across the sales team

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You...

Have previous experience managing a residential or field sales team (solar preferred)

Are highly organised and know how to stay on top of leads, deals, and rep performance

Can lead by example – you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves

Are proactive with your team – you pick up the phone, solve problems, and keep things moving
