The Company

This prominent resources company is listed on the LSX. It has several assets globally and is undergoing an aggressive growth strategy here in Australia. The Australian office is located in modern offices in Brisbane's CBD.

The Role:

The role reports to a senior Senior Legal Counsel who is looking to appoint an additional team member in line with asset servicing demands. Candidates will ideally have 4 or more years’ experience and a skillset in the commercial areas as the work-mix will roughly comprise:

• commercial contracts and procurement (approximately 70% of total work)
• assisting the SLC on Corporate M&A and asset acquisitions (approximately 10% of total work)
• BAU matters (i.e. property, risk, compliance, governance)
• managing external legal panel on any disputes

Please note that experience in commercial contracts is mandatory whereas experience in the other areas is not.

Remuneration:

Negotiable in line with post admission and relevant transferrable skills. Workplace flexibility is also expected to be offered and will be confirmed at interview, if not prior.
