The Opportunity
Purple Support is looking for a full-time People & Culture Coordinator based in Darwin, NT.
In this pivotal role, you will report directly to senior management and oversee key HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance across our expanding workforce. As the central HR contact, you’ll have the opportunity to shape workplace culture, streamline processes, and make a lasting impact.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
Ensuring all staff documentation is up-to-date and compliant with NDIS and industry regulations
Enhancing HR systems and processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness
Creating and managing staff rosters, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to workforce regulations
Developing and implementing training programs to upskill employees and enhance service delivery
Coordinating team meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining detailed records
Providing ongoing HR support and advice to staff and management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma in Human Resource Management (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of experience in a similar HR role from within the disability sector.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and compliance requirements
Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation
Proven ability to create and implement staff rosters efficiently
Familiarity with training and workforce development programs
Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting diverse teams
A passion for the disability sector and an ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Benefits
Compensation includes a competitive annual salary of $82,000 - $90,000 + superannuation, along with a range of great benefits, including:
$60 per fortnight travel allowance (~$2,000 annually)
