The Opportunity
You’ll assume responsibility for sales and profit performance for a Trade Service Centre servicing the Gold Coast through to Brisbane south. Ideally you’ll have some steel reo, mesh and bar, or concrete or related sales experience. Clients include Tiers, 3, 4 & 5 builders and contractors in medium rise projects as well as residential, commercial and light industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be to:

• 50% Customer liaison and Business Development
• 50% management of branch functions, P&L etc
• Drive profitable business growth through existing and new clients
• Manage Operations, Sales Executive & Customer Service teams
• Oversee new business in upcoming building & development sites
• Maximise sales and margins with Tier 2, 3, 4 builders & contractors
• Maximise counter sales in high margin products & accessories

Your Skills & Attributes
Ideally you’ll have developed your career in the Steel and concrete construction industry, either at Branch level or in a Sales or Operations capacity, and be able to demonstrate most of the following:

• Well developed relationship, Business Development & Sales skills
• Some Branch Management or similar profit centre management exp.
• Ability to manage Operations, Sales and Customer Service personnel
• Strong networks & ability to develop long term business relationships
• Ability to identify, liaise and negotiate with T3, 4 & 5 builders
• Knowledge of steel and concrete construction products
• Understanding of MSOffice suite and other softwares

What's on Offer
An attractive salary package of between $135k-$160k (including vehicle) will be negotiated depending on experience.
