About the Opportunity
At Wellways, our Support Hub is our central service desk, providing support across a range of systems that help our people do their best work. As our new Application Support Specialist, you will be part of the Support Hub team, supporting end users across the organisation to get the most out of our enterprise applications.
Reporting to the Support Hub Manager, you will work across Tier 2 and 3 support, using your application expertise to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and ensure systems are well configured and aligned to business needs. You will work with platforms such as Carelink, Workday, Riskman, Folio, and RingCentral, supporting day-to-day use, managing system changes, and collaborating with vendors where needed.
Whether you are refining configurations, responding to complex queries or delivering tailored support, you will be helping team members across the organisation feel confident and supported in using the systems they rely on every day.

About You
With a background in application support and a sharp eye for detail, you are a confident communicator and a natural problem-solver. You prioritise clear, user-friendly communication to help everyone understand complex concepts, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently for the best possible user experience. You bring solid knowledge of ITIL principles, SaaS environments, and vendor coordination to support continuous improvement and enhance the experience of the team members we support.
You bring:
- Proven experience in application administration, configuration, and solution design for Client Management, Risk Management, Telephony and/or ERP Systems
- Highly developed customer service skills including exceptional customer service and relationship management focus
- Ability to troubleshoot, resolve and communicate solutions for systems issues across the organisation
- Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake
- Satisfactory Queensland Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2), or willingness to undertake
- NDIS Workers Orientation module certificate - free online course
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science or any Information-Technology related field from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Prior experience working within the Mental Health industry or community services based organisation (preferred)
