About the Role

We are searching for a dynamic, hands-on Gaming & Loyalty Manager who will:

Lead and Motivate: Take charge of the gaming floor and membership/reception team, setting a high bar for service, team engagement, and operational excellence. As the leader, you’ll coach and mentor your team, ensuring each member delivers outstanding experiences to guests.

Enhance Member Loyalty: Be the face of our tailored loyalty program, Obsidian Rewards, that make guests feel valued and encourage repeat patronage. You’ll use both data insights and personal touch to drive engagement.

Champion Technology: Oversee the maintenance and performance of gaming systems, including EGMs and digital loyalty platforms. You’ll manage troubleshooting and upgrades, ensuring a seamless experience for all.

Uphold Responsible Gaming: Maintain a safe, supportive environment for both staff and members. You’ll model and enforce policies that emphasise responsible play and regulatory compliance.

Drive Innovation: Identify trends, introduce best practices, and seek out new opportunities to enhance Gaythorne RSL’s gaming offerings. Your vision will help shape the club’s future.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role brings:

Proven Experience: Prior background as a manager from the hospitality industry, with exposure to gaming, membership and/or loyalty. Additional kudos if this is working in venues undergoing recent growth, renovations or digital transformation.

Leadership Skills: A natural communicator who coaches by example, fosters collaboration, and motivates teams to reach their best. Your upbeat persona will help build an atmosphere on the floor, and guide the team to provide exceptional experiences at multiple touchpoints.

Problem-Solving Savvy: The ability to think quickly, adapt to changing situations, and deliver calm solutions in a lively, high-volume environment.

Energetic Personality: A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine sense of fun—someone who enjoys building rapport with both guests and team members.

Key Requirements

System Mastery: Demonstrated experience working with Licensed Monitoring Operator (LMO) systems, with a competitive edge being your experience using Odyssey products at a high level.

EGM Expertise: Solid understanding of the installation, operation, and servicing of a range of EGMs and familiarity with trends or new releases in gaming technology.

Tech Adaptability: Experience with Nexus Digital Loyalty systems is advantageous. Quick learning and adaptability with new platforms (such as BTG paging, Vix Vizion Facial Recognition) will set you apart.

Focus on Service: Uphold high standards of customer engagement and drive a culture of excellence on the floor. We are not looking for someone to be office or cashier bound, we want someone who knows how to build atmosphere.
