About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about child development, language, and literacy? Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is looking for a talented and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our Jiji (young children) Program team.
The role is responsible for delivering individual and group interventions, school-based programs, and clinical support that promote positive speech and literacy outcomes for Martu children. This unique position also includes opportunities to supervise students and collaborate with university partners.
About You
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
A Bachelor’s or equivalent tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
Full membership eligibility with Speech Pathology Australia.
Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience.
Experience in school-based programs and literacy interventions.
Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
Understanding of trauma and its impact on learning and behaviour.
A reflective and strengths-based approach to supervision and learning.
Desirable:
Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is recognised as such by their community.
About the Benefits
Salary: $110,564.61 – $136,145.80 p.a. + super
